Even if that client is "internal", the project needs parameters and the promise of eventual "real" world application. Without that crucial last 10%, which is application of the mark, seeing it on signage, stationery, etc. then it's just a good and interesting exercise to stretch and bend the creative muskles! ;-) Good question, Adam! The '99' quotes is rather clever and ironic because the Great One did have good quotables.
