Published by Rockport, the book showcases “the latest, most innovative, and exciting work in the field from well-known design leaders, new design firms, and cutting-edge artists.” It’s an honor to see some of our less well-known logos receive some recognition.

Page 208 honors our logo design for Meadowlark Recycling, a recycling endeavor of Omaha’s Firstar Fiber. The logo’s core is the titular Meadowlark, and its yin-yang shape symbolizes the closed-loop recycling program in which the same brand that collects recyclables also appears in the store on the resulting recycled goods.

Page 20 features Oxide’s logo for the Employee Voice Awards, an annual honor given out by Quantum Workplace to companies with the most engaged employees. The shapes of the letters e, v, and a allowed us the opportunity to visually contain the “voice” within literal quotation marks.

Page 110 showcases the logo we designed for Slowdown, the bar and music venue established by the owners of Saddle Creek Records. The “do not enter” sign replacing the “O” is meant as a symbol of the ironic, counter-culture mentality of the independent music scene.
