Oxide featured in LogoLounge 5
When I was in college, my peers and I viewed LogoLounge as one of the pinnacle achievements for logo designers. So you can imagine my excitement in learning that my work would be part of LogoLounge 5: 2,000 International Identities by Leading Designers.

This is not the first time Oxide has been featured in LogoLounge. Before I joined the team, Joe and Drew had already been featured in the series 9 times. The book is part of a long-running series published by Rockport and is judged by eight leading designers from around the world. The entries are accepted through their website: logolounge.com and complied every 18 months into a new book. Below are the three logos selected for LogoLounge 5.

Meadowlark Recycling (unused)
Congrats!
Your unused logos, are those rejected options, or just hypotheticals? I’m asking because I’ve got tons of great unused stuff (mostly client-rejected stuff), but I’ve never submitted it for fear of infringing on intellectual property rights. How do you guys skirt that?
@Jon: typically the unused logos we submit to LogoLounge are options we showed to the client that they did not select for their final logo. LogoLounge specifically encourages the submission of unselected logos.
As far as your question about intellectual property rights, we certainly do not look to “skirt” any issues. We only post the work to which we have copyright, or for which we have received permission to show as examples of our design.
