Our copy of LogoLounge 7: 2,000 International Identities by Leading Designers recently arrived at the Oxide office. The book is part of a long-running series published by Rockport and is judged by eight leading designers from around the world. The entries are accepted through their website: logolounge.com and complied every 18 months into a new book.
Shortly after receiving the book, we had the honor of series author, Bill Gardner dropping by the office while he was visiting Omaha. While driving down Farnam Street, Gardner recognized Oxide’s neon sign, and stopped in for a visit with Drew Davies and an impromptu book signing, in which he wrote:
“Thanks for your continued support. You guys are great designers.”
We are happy to report that four logos by the Oxide team have been featured. While I haven’t been working at Oxide long enough to have worked on the actual creation of the featured logos, I take pride in the fact that I am working with such talented individuals. Below are the logos selected for LogoLounge 7.
