We are pleased to share that Oxide Design Co., and founder and designer Drew Davies, have been featured on the front page of the Tuesday, May 10, 2016, issue of the Omaha World-Herald. The article, headlined “A Clean Ballot for Messy Times”, highlights our extensive work on election and ballot design, including how our national ballot design standards have been adopted by Douglas County, Neb.
Written by columnist Erin Grace, the article also highlights the fact that our Election Design Field Guides will be featured in the upcoming “By The People: Designing a Better America” exhibition at Smithsonian‘s Cooper Hewitt design museum. Grace also gives a nod to our proposed design for the Nebraska license plate.
We’re delighted by the coverage. Many thanks to Erin Grace and the Omaha World-Herald, as well as our faithful Center for Civic Design partners, Dana Chisnell and Whitney Quesenbery. Read the full text of the story at omaha.com.
