Storytelling, creativity boosts, cute animals, and ways to interact with friends are the things Mandy finds most inspiring. Narrowing this list was more difficult than it should have been.

Mandy’s favorite projects

Mandy loves to forge strong relationships with clients and to be part of projects that help push those clients to the next level. It's a super bonus when she gets to write content or manage a satisfying number of details.

50,000 words in 30 days

There’s this thing called NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) that some crazy writers participate in every November. The goal is to write a novel in one month — 50,000 words in 30 days. This year, I participated. That comes down to 1,667 words a day, but you can pace yourself however you like. The idea is quantity over quality. Nano pushes you to just keep moving, beyond the doubts and the questions and the writers blocks that come up. And…

Mandy’s Great™ TV shows

It was a big and exciting project, with lots of uncertainty, lots of…

Why I’m joining Oxide

I first met the Oxide crew in 2008 when they were selected to do the rebranding for Word Made Flesh, where I worked. Since then, I’ve kept up with them here and there, mostly through playing ultimate frisbee with Drew Davies. I have admired, from a slight distance, the work going on at Oxide. Honestly, they were a joy to work with when I was a client. We loved the end product as much as the process. And I’m excited…
