For the third year in a row, Oxide had the pleasure of designing the promotional materials for Animus: Film vs. Book, the 1877 Society’s annual event. The event brings together book and film enthusiasts to debate (to the death!) which one is better — all while having fun and raising funds for the Omaha Public Library’s programs and services.

After establishing old-world style branding for the 1877 Society, we helped brand and design their fundraising event Animus: Film vs. Book in a similar style. We had a blast working through these projects, so we jumped at the chance to create the poster for the group’s second-annual Animus.

We are very excited about the work we did with Omaha Public Library Foundation‘s 1877 Society for their inaugural event called Animus: Film vs. Book. Each year, the Animus event will pit a book against its film counterpart in a spirited discourse. Participants are encouraged to come prepared to defend their choice to the death!
