Animus:
Film vs. Book 2016

After establishing old-world style branding for the 1877 Society, we helped brand and design their fundraising event Animus: Film vs. Book in a similar style. We had a blast working through these projects, so we jumped at the chance to create the poster for the group’s second-annual Animus.

The Whimsical World of Bjørn Wiinblad

Presented by the Museum of Danish America, “The Whimsical World of Bjørn Wiinblad” is a new exhibition looking back at the life and work of this prolific artist. Located in Elk Horn, Iowa, the museum is dedicated to spotlighting the history and culture of the Danish people in America and abroad. A longtime client, the museum approached us about creating a visual identity for this new exhibit.

The Simple Man logo

Earlier this year, my good friend came to me with an idea. He was looking to open a store for men and needed help with branding. He wanted to open an expertly curated shop that concentrated on high-quality, classic items for the modern gentleman. He had a name he liked — The Simple Man — and was ready to move on to a full identity buildout, so I was more than happy to donate my time and expertise to help…

The mountainous setting is perfect for adventurous students to try their hand at ice-climbing, rafting, backpacking, skiing, and more. In…

Animus branding and promotion

Each year, the Animus event will pit a book against its film counterpart in a spirited discourse. Participants are encouraged to come prepared to defend their choice to the death! The 2015 selection is The Shining – Kubrick vs. King. And the event is THIS THURSDAY, October 29, at Aksarben Cinema. So come watch the…
