The team at Nebraska Loves Public Schools has been creating documentaries on great stories from our public schools for years. We originally partnered with them in 2013 to design and develop a website to feature their films. Recently, we were asked to help them launch an advocacy campaign.
The campaign focuses on the good things happening every day in Nebraska public schools. The website iloveps.org gives citizens the ability to sign up for newsletter to stay informed. With the core belief that great public schools build a great Nebraska, the organization’s goal is to highlight public school achievements. Paying attention, taking interest, engaging in conversation, understanding, and sharing your skills are just a few of the ways that we as students, parents, and neighbors can support public schools.
The campaign, which spans the entire state of Nebraska, employs radio spots, television commercials, and billboards. As an added bonus after signing up for their newsletter, advocates are offered free “I Love Public Schools” swag options.
We’ve really enjoyed collaborating with Nebraska Loves Public Schools to develop the messaging for this campaign, and working with the talented team at Malone and Co. (Nebraska Loves Public Schools’ film and photography partner) to create the TV spots and billboards.
With the campaign running for the next year, it will be exciting to watch support for Nebraska public schools grow!
