In 2012, Oxide helped local business efforts to name and brand what would soon become the preferred spot for entertainment in Omaha — the Blackstone District. This was a special undertaking for us, because this area has been Oxide’s home since we opened in 2001.
Looking to the Blackstone Hotel for inspiration, we branded our own midtown Omaha neighborhood, whose mission is to recreate and nurture a district that is lively and pedestrian-friendly, and that provides a unique cultural experience for businesses, residents, and all members of the community.
Now the Blackstone District is one of Omaha’s most dynamic neighborhoods, attracting hundreds of visitors and patrons every week.
