Kiewit Luminarium is a completely new kind of science center — a place for everyone to explore the astonishing phenomena that shape our world, our communities, and ourselves. It’s built with a vision that Omaha will become a wellspring of creativity and innovation — with opportunities for everyone — that nurtures emerging engineers and scientists.
The driving force behind Kiewit Luminarium is to engage and excite learners of all ages who are typically underrepresented in STEM careers. Students are a driving force of the center, and inspiring young people with a lifelong interest in science and technology will open doors for their careers and futures. It’s a companion to students’ journey of learning and education, bringing new life to science, technology, and engineering, and celebrating math unlike anywhere in the world.
Oxide crafted the organization’s name, brand strategy, and visual design to capture the idea that Kiewit Luminarium is a portal through which you can see into the brilliant and illuminating worlds beyond.
